Freeride Snowboarding
In the video above, Mitch explains how he prepares to snowboard a big mountain line.
Mitch Toelderer is the Big Mountain Freeride Snowboarding World Champion 2011.
I’m super excited to be going to Austria to ski with Mitch.
I’m actually on the plane right now, on my way there.
Freeride Snowboarding in Austria …
Mitch has a little time before his 2012 Snowboarding Competition Season starts, and invited me to come visit him in Austria. I’ve been skiing and snowboarding for the last 15 years or so. And I really love skiing big mountain lines. Mitch is one of the world’s best big mountain riders.
Freeride Snowboarding World Champion 2012
Mitch also happens to be a fitness expert and attributes winning the 2012 world championship to his fitness training.
For the last couple of years I’ve been telling Mitch to create an information product around his fitness training methods. I know there are many extreme sports athletes out there who would like to step it up and get better at their sport. Mitch’s fitness training methods will help them do that. I’m going to help Mitch create an Information Product.
And I’m going to case study the entire process here on this blog.
My hope is that you can follow along and do the same for your self.
And while I’m skiing with Mitch I’m going to be picking his brain about big mountain riding.
Hopefully some of his big mountain riding skills will rub off on me. :-)
In return for his help, I am going to help him create an Information Product that he can sell online. Seems like a good trade, don’t you think?
To end this post, checkout some of Mitch’s amazing big mountain freeride snowboarding lines.

Thought of going downhill really fast never frightened me, only the prospect of stopping really fast against a hard object. I would like to snowboard. I’ve skied a lot in the past but never tried it.
Awesome videos Chris! Have great time running the free ride line! Thanks for sharing these fun parts of your life with us. It keeps the spirits high and the dreams alive!
Sure thing Terry! Thanks for reading the blog. I’ll be posting a video soon of our riding here in Austria.
And soon after that I’ll post some case study videos on how to build an online business around your passions.
Stick with me.
Well, you sure aren’t missing anything here in Park City this winter….
Yeah I went to PC for a week with my daughter. No snow. My plan was to put her in ski school while I shred the pow, but since there was no snow I skied with her everyday. So it was good learning for her. And still fun. ☺
to be sincere, sports is my week point.don’t be suprise if i tell you that i’ve not heard of free ride snowboarding.mitch is lucky to have you take by the arm into internet marketing.i may follow a bit coz athletes is one other thing i do ignore.
Killer ride – It’s interesting the difference between the terrain and snow in the Alps vs. big ski mountains in N. America. Great stuff and thanks for sharing!
It looks Cool to watch in this nice warm chair here at my PC !
I’ve had a few broken bones in my life and thinking of doing this kinda brings back memories of the pain after the numbness wears off. LOL
Now get me in some warm water on a slalom and I’m good. I know the landing has a little give to it.
Do we get a video of you hitting the slopes Chris?
Skiing is not my thing but I am glad that you guys are having fun. Can’t wait to see the case study on how to create an information product.
Man, that looks like a major rush! I’ve always thought that snowboarding was cool. Maybe 57 isn’t too old to take up something new — lol.
Stay safe on your mountains runs, and keep us updated with Mitchs’ info product. Have fun!
No, you are never too old! Go get out there!
Watching experts snowboarding is very enjoyable, but too risky for me. I use to do downhill skiing, but after one too many injuries I gave it up.
Chris! Wow What a great snowboard video to watch. Thanks for posting

Payson,Ut. Lived in Salt Lake City,Ut for Years, it’s good to see a Utah’n

Chris!
Although I have never met you and may or may never meet you in person.
But it is a great pleasure meeting you VIRTUALLY!
This lifestyle is mind blowing !
Honestly, I used to think you “folks are crazy” but each time i watch and listen to you, i have come to believe that there is more to LIFE that getting
tied to your computer and making “money”
I know, i sound ?
It has indeed been a pleasure.
Ain’t NEVER never seen anything like this before in my life.
Hi Will, thanks for your comment! I’m working on a video right now and will try to post it tomororw. Should be fun! Take it easy, Chris
I do “regular” alpine ski and I think that to do this you have to be addicted to adrenaline! Absolutely awesome but insane!
Ha! Thanks Chris! Sweet. Have fun in Austria!!! Never been but it’s on the list to get to. I’m going to Silverton Mtn in a few days for a few Heli drops myself! Can’t wait.
Yeah RC, hope you get some sick runs in!
Mitch is an amazing athlete and that is some of the sickest footage ever…awesome. Have an awesome time Chris!
Yes Mitch is ridiculous! I have been chasing him around the mountains here in Austria the last few days and he sure rips! He is literally snowboarding circles around me. Sometimes I will stop in the middle of a run to catch my breath and there comes Mitch, jumping right over me.
Freeride looks very cool. I did not realize that so much planning went into those total balls-out snowboard runs you see on TV, again killer footage and thanks for sharing Chris.
True. They make it look so easy on tv that you never really think about how much preparing goes into riding these lines.
I like watching it, I’m not really into snowboarding at my age,,,
